Are Owls Considered Fowl?

Owls are not considered to be fowls as they are actually predatory nocturnal birds. Fowls on the other hand are broken down into several different types, game fowl and land fowl as well as he waterfowl. Owls are also part of the Strigiformes order and completely different from fowls.

Although owls and fowls may share some similar characteristics, the fact of the matter is that they are two completely different types of birds. There are actually a number of differences between these two birds, such as the food that they eat as well as their hunting habits.
