Snakes have a radial symmetry, meaning that they are symmetrical when a piece of them is cut. Some of the other animals that have a radial symmetry include starfish and even certain flowers. Jellyfish are also prime examples of organisms with a radial symmetry.
These animals are symmetrical from an axis that is located in the center, though this is not always the case. Animals like reptiles and sea creatures are not the only organisms that can have a radial symmetry though; even some viruses have been proven to have a radial symmetry, with coats that are comprised of small protein molecules.

This is just completely wrong. Snakes are bilaterally symmetrical.
