There are certain snakes which are classified as being endangered, with certain ones that are more at risk than others. The Mexican ridge nosed rattle snake is just one of these reptiles that is on the endangered species list, primarily because of disruptions to their natural habitat because of urban development and other problems caused by people.
Another snake that is endangered is the Indian Python, which lives primarily in woodlands as well as forests and valleys. Most of these snakes are endangered because of destruction of their natural habitats by man, leaving them nowhere else to live.
