Although it is true that two-headed snakes do exist, they are extremely rare to find in the wild. Snakes that are born with two heads are actually considered to be conjoined twins, or a single snake with a parasitic twin. While snakes like this are very rare, it happens more with snakes than with almost any other animal on the planet.
There are certain snakes which are born with two heads and share the same stomach, while others have their own separate stomach. When two-headed snakes have separate stomachs, it is not uncommon for one to die because it keeps losing fights over food.
