Do Owls Have Nests?

The fact is that the nesting habits of these animals really depend on the type of owl as they tend to vary greatly. The Tawny and Barn owl variety tend to make their nests in tree holes or even nest boxes. Little owls on the other hand sometimes build nests in building or tree holes.

The short-eared owl tends to make their nest on the ground, one that is lined with both feathers and grass. Then there is the long-eared owl which nests in previously occupied corvid nests. While owls do make nests for their young, their nest-making habits depend on the variety of owl.
