Moon blinking is actually a myth which states that owls can become hypnotized by the moon, forced to sleep and completely obliterating their free will. While it may be true that moon blinking doesn’t actually exist outside of fiction, there are other myths related to the moon, such as that sleeping under a full moon can cause a person to lose their sanity.
The word “lunacy” is even derived from “lunar” which refers to the moon. There is however a condition known as “nyctalopia”, which renders a person or animal unable to see in the darkness.

My thirty years as an owl nreeder has taught me that they are vile, insolent and disobedient creatures. After much ponderance on this topic, i sought the help of Lyze of Kiel on how i may control my owls better so they may do my evil bidding for me. He, in his infinite wisdom, advised me that moonblinking was the way to go. My initial skepticism was quickly turned into faith as i saw, after one moon blink, that my owls were ready and willing to obey my commands.
Hence i disagree with this blasphemous article. Its simply not true. Believe in the moon and your owls. Do the blink and you shall not regret it.
