Owls that live in areas where there is a large human presence tend not to be afraid of them. Most owls tend to avoid people in general, which is why they are not very commonly seen. These creatures are also nocturnal which means they are awake and hunt at night when most other people are asleep or indoors.
You will find that owls are also very good at being quiet and staying conspicuous in tree tops or inside them which is where they reside when they are not out hunting. In general owls stay as far away from people as possible, especially in areas where there are a lot of them around.
